ABS luggage also has its own merits. It has high hardness and can provide relatively good protection for the contents inside. In addition, the price of ABS is moderate compared with PC. It is a cost – effective option that can meet the basic quality and function requirements of most consumers for luggage without causing too much financial pressure. Also, ABS is easy to be processed and formed into various shapes and styles. So there are various designs of ABS luggage in the market, including different box shapes, handle positions, and internal compartments to meet the personalized needs of different users. Nevertheless, the toughness of ABS is relatively poor compared with PC. When subjected to strong impacts, the suitcase may crack. Especially in a low – temperature environment, its toughness will be further reduced and it is more prone to damage. Besides, its abrasion resistance is average, and after a period of use, there may be obvious scratches on the surface of the ABS suitcase, affecting its aesthetics.

Oxford Cloth

Oxford cloth luggage has its unique advantages. It is light and soft. As a textile fabric, Oxford cloth is soft in texture and light in weight. Using this material for luggage makes it easy to carry. Especially when the luggage is full, even if it is heavy, it will not cause too much burden on the user because of the soft material. For example, during the process of carrying or pulling, the pressure on the hands is relatively small. In addition, Oxford cloth luggage has good storage performance. Due to its certain elasticity and flexibility, when the suitcase is not fully packed, it can be easily squeezed and stored in a narrow space, such as the trunk of a car or the corner of a storage rack. Furthermore, Oxford cloth luggage is relatively inexpensive, which is an economical choice. It is suitable for users with a limited budget or those who do not use the luggage frequently. Also, Oxford cloth generally has good abrasion resistance. Special – treated Oxford cloth (such as coated fabric) can also have waterproof and anti – scratch properties to some extent, enabling it to cope with various complex environments during travel. However, the protection ability of Oxford cloth material for the contents inside is relatively limited. When subjected to large external impacts or compression, it cannot effectively protect the internal items as well as hard – shell materials, and the items are prone to damage. Moreover, the surface of Oxford cloth is easy to get dirty, adsorbing dust and stains. After cleaning, there may be fading and deformation, which will affect the appearance and service life of the suitcase.
